Bike Park Time Trials

As part of next season's speed challenge, the ev2mtb time trials have been recorded.
The challenge is simple - go faster and win goodies.

This year we have chosen the Big Hit II from Specialized.
Renowned for their robust construction, our new additions are ideal for the more experienced downhiller.

Bikes can be rented from Black Cats in Val Claret.

Tignes Bike Festival

11-12 July

July 11-12, 20 Pro riders are 'descending' on Tignes to display their skills, pass on their knowledge and mix it with us mere mortals.
Two days of wild riding on the downhill trails of the Toviere hill.
Catch 'em if you can.

Trail development in Tignes

All high level trails are now open

The Tignes Bike Park is to undergo further development for the coming summer. New features are to be built into the 'Gypsy' downhill run. These include a variety of berms, jumps and drop offs.
A new entry level downhill trail is to be cut mirroring the current 'Funky Tufs' trail. The trail is being specifically targeted to those who want to grasp and then master their downhill techniques before moving onto tougher terrain.
UPDATE
Work has been delayed on the top sections of the trails due to too much SNOW......
Our last snowfall was on June 4th and despite increasing temperatures there are still large areas of snow coverage above 2500m.
